Dr Nandini Velho
Dr. Nandini Velho is currently an Omega Resilience Award Fellow and a wildlife researcher with over a decade of field-based experience in northeast India. She previously held a faculty position at Srishti School of Art, Design, and Technology, specializing in the Information Art and Information Design Program within the School of Law, Environment, and Planning. She obtained her PhD from James Cook University in Australia, focusing on tropical ecology. Nandini‘s collaborative work with artists, researchers, and scientists exemplifies her ability to bridge gaps across different domains. She has actively participated in numerous initiatives, including programs at the Nature Interpretation Centres and storytelling endeavors centered around forests.
