Kathmandu University School of Arts, Department of Art and Design Signs MoU with Nepal Art Council

Kathmandu University, School of Arts, Department of Art and Design has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Art Council to strengthen collaboration in the fields of art, design, and creative research. The MoU was signed by Mr. Sagar SJB Rana, President of the Nepal Art Council, and Mr. Sagar Manandhar, Acting Head of Department, Department of Art and Design.

This partnership is aimed at bridging academic learning with real-world professional experience for art and design students. Through this collaboration, students will gain enhanced access to gallery spaces, mentorship from practicing artists, research opportunities, and participation in national and international art programs and exhibitions organized by the Nepal Art Council.

The MoU marks a significant step toward promoting academic institutional partnerships that support creative growth, cultural exchange, and expanded learning opportunities for emerging artists.
