ADMISSION OPEN FOR BFA FALL 2016

Kathmandu University, School of Arts, Center for Art and Design Invites applications for Admission for Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Program.
Bachelor of Fine Arts BFA degree is designed to prepare students for careers in their preferred creative discipline or for succeeding in master programs. KU Art+Design’s curriculum highlights intensive studio practices, with foundation in basic techniques, followed by stages of innovation and critical learning, and culminating in the development of an independent visual idiom. Students earn a BFA degree in Graphic Communication or Studio Art after completion of 4-year, 8-semesters course with 139 credits.
Aims
1. To develop students’ creative abilities to produce original works of art and design.
2. To extend their knowledge and understanding of Nepalese Art and that of other civilizations.
3. To prepare them for professional careers and further training in Art and related subjects.
Applicants who have passed class XI and are waiting for the class XII results can also apply as a provisional admission.
