Students will learn to use essential graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Freehand, CorelDraw, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator to support their design process. The unit is designed to obtain essential competence in creating page layouts, typesetting, drawing and composition and produce suitable digital files required for graphic reproduction such as letterpress and digital outputs. The students will also be introduced to basic design for Internet with necessary knowledge of HTML and XML and Flash; and 3D Max to support three dimensional design and animation for further studies.
