This is fundamental course offering students to the process of making illustrations. Each student’s own creativity, self-expression and visual communicative ability will be emphasized. They will be introduced to develop clarity of concepts, professional responsibilities and technical procedures necessary to work in this field. They will also be introduced to different trends and concepts of illustrations. The important exercises will be also on the work targeted for a variety of age groups and functions of illustration. Special attention will be on self discipline, organization of time and working procedures to help building professional attitude

Fundamentals of Illustration – Exercises on developing text based illustration, realizing the targeted age groups, technical procedures related to illustration, selection and manipulation of materials, illustrated pages layout with interplay of text and image, conceptualizing and stylization, caricature cartoon etc.

Book Illustration – study of various book forms such as course book, children book, travel etc. produce cover and page illustrations based on provided text, special focus will be on experimental styles of children book illustrations, creatively communicate with concepts, the written text and images with in the framework of the book, comic books, stripe cartoons

Advance Illustration – Creatively use different possible means to create illustrations such as photographs, digital media or mixed media, explore many elements of illustration, including basic animation, story board.
