Kathmandu University, Centre for Art and Design has been providing an opportunity for foreign and Nepali art lovers to pursue short-term courses in drawing, painting, photography and ceramic-sculpture. This prospect has brought forward a vicinity of multicultural interaction within the campus premises – sharing, exploring and experiencing the diverse possibilities of visual arts. The people from different walk of lives coming together with a common interest of creating artworks under the same roof has fostered a unique amalgam of ideas, interest and perspective, not only to the students but also to our faculties.

The works on exhibit are the outcome of that fine blend and are produced during the tutorials and assigned projects. The diverse subjects, themes and attitudes illustrate the multiplicity of the atmosphere.
