Ceramics
Ceramics is a supplementary subject to the main sculpture. Students will learn different types of wares and their forming techniques such as molded, slab, coils, hand building and different shapes on the wheel. They will decorate it with design and learn to use various pigments for its glazing. They will also learn to fire their work in the kilns. The students opting for the advanced sculpture will use ceramics as a medium to explore the wider possibilities in the field of plastic art.
