Illustration Illustration as a career is actually just beginning to take off in Nepal. Publishers are on the lookout for new talents. It is one of most interesting art forms involving analysis of the text, careful planning and then plenty of creative imagination. This is a subsidiary option for student following the Photography/Graphics and Extra Painting in the 3rd and 4th Year. It will help students to pursue careers in book and magazine design, comic strips, advertising and other media work. They can explore a variety of media including printmaking, graphics, photography and painting in order to: Decorate a publication. Describe a text pictorially. Interpret a text creatively. The students will examine the work of leading children's illustrators and graphic artists from the past and present. |
