World Art Studies
Studying World Art throughout BFA courses is mandatory for all students. We do not use textbooks but rather examine and discuss pictures, sculpture and architecture through high-quality projections.

In the 1st year, students conduct a rapid survey of the art during many different epochs and learn to write reviews of selected works.During the following three years they comprehensively study the cultural context and aesthetic theories that lie behind art and they examine the technical features of individual items.

The syllabus is designed to travel chronologically from Paleolithic Age to the modern artists and pay close critical attention to the contemporary art scene.The main aim of this course is to provide inspirations and technical ideas to support the students’ own practical work as emerging artists.
