Drawing
Drawing is an essential skill for all artists and a compulsory subject throughout the BFA courses. It teaches students to look at the world through a creative eye. They study elements and principle of art and utilise their skill in still life, Life drawing and portrait, Architectural sketching, Landscape and    Creative Drawing.

They will be required to study human anatomy and how to represent space, distance and the effects of light. Careful sketchings are to be done based on observation, drawing from memory and imagination. The students have to make rapid sketches for personal reference and detailed drawings for display. They get to experiment with charcoal, inks, watercolour and other drawing materials.

Every student must keep a sketchbook that should be updated with new drawings everyday. This will be in the form of a visual diary, but should also be used for the students’ creative thoughts, writing, cuttings and colour studies.
